I am an artist and i gave ai a shot for a while. I noticed that ai is really good at making something that looks amazing at first glance, but loses its appeal once you start looking more.
Whilst the most amazing art i've seen does the opposite. Sometimes the art ist amazing, or good, or even just okay at first glance, but then you notice more and more intention and details the further you look.
I think in this case especially, we become what be behold. The value of art is already subjective. One might need just something to glance at, a quick idea or a pieve that gives a vibe, while someone else might want a detailed, highly specific piece of art, that reflects their thoughts and concepts precisely.
Personally, i enjoy crafting and creating. I do art because of the process. And the meaning. Ai cant do that for me. I do not feel threatened anymore.
