I don't think so ai will in this generation pass human intelligence. Human brain body is the most efficient tool ever created on this planted and far more superior than ai in any way . Even if ai acts on its own in the near future it isn't sustainable for it to operate on its own . It needs millions of watts of electricity just process some information. While humans do it in 20 watts . But still ai regulations is a major issue and we all need to work towards it
