A.I: When lazy, uncreatives get all the powers of an art god, but still have no knowledge of what they actually wield, because they REFUSE to practice or study their new instant image-spawning powers.... so they end up levelling an entire continent instead, and want to be praised for it, because, hey, it's still an amazing display of chaotic power. For me, A.I is a dream come true... because it's the BEST reference generator ever. If I tell it EXACTLY what I want, and not strain over Pinterest looking for it (like many images of exact, varying fruits in a highly reflective, rainbow, crystal bowl with warm mid-daylight hitting it from the left side)... and I can at least get a feel of a subject or the atmosphere, because in the end, A.I is still not going to spit out exactly what I'm thinking. Sometimes I don't have a high-orange light hitting the fruits at a certain angle, or reflecting just so off of the crystal bowl. That's where AI can help me. And I STILL have an IRL fruit in a IRL crystal bowl for more reference. A.I is like magazine reference clippings I can actually control. I can't imagine thinking it's some final product. It would be like gluing all my magazine reference images that display lots of people in varying advertisement settings onto a large CVA-brand white poster board, then calling it "classical" art. Then proclaiming that I should have it put in a gallery and I should get a shiny, no... the SHINEST of medals for it.
