The number of times I have had to go over code for hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, even with LLMs chipping in - humans still need to be in the loop to make sure it all runs smoothly and bug free. Generative tech / LLMs or "AI" or whatever you call it - just isn't at the level where it can surpass human-level/quality intelligence. Maybe one day it could get there (probably via a biology-based intelligence or advanced brain-machine interface/integration, but for all intents and purposes, 90% of the time humans fixing and coding and going through the code one line at a bloody time is still ABSOLUTELY FUNDAMENTAL. On top of this, you still need a literal army of PhD developers, programmers and engineers, etc, just to keep these LLMs / AI models up to date and running properly anyway. It's laughable laying off your team thinking you can now finally be a one person CEO-only company running every operation fully on 100% automation and AI. It's lala-land.
