I want to add this comment not to defend the pro-AI person but because I genuinely understand the sentimental frustration they're throwing themselves into. It's barely talked in the community but even during my times in the 2010s and 2000s art has a community was toxic, EVERYWHERE, sure there where and still is many helpful tutorials to start and make your own art and I followed them and still do till this day! but genuinely when you want helpful criticism or any value being shown in your art, you'd still end up with a 50/50 possibility of being harassed and harshly criticized of not being good enough, being told that "if you can't [Insert doing] has an artist then you're not truly an artist" is something I've read so many times has a valid claim and criticism even till this day. I've had an actual artist on Twitter call another beginner artist who struggled to finish their art untalented and "not passionate" and even saying that they're just doing art has a hobby when this person clearly revealed it was IN FACT their passion and where just struggling WITH BURNOUT. HOW CAN WE fight against AI artists and encourage them to begin the process when the community and other artists themselves make it SEEM like it can only be done if you have special blue blood or "understand art" it's NOT just a matter of "Just pick up the pencil! Lmao" it's a complex problem at hand that involves the improvement and support from the community itself EVERYWHERE.
