If you think about it, they can’t exist without real artists. You can hardly call it AI art, image would be more accurate, but they most likely won’t take jobs away. As an artist, I never had too much of a problem with image generation - I could even see it being useful sometimes when drawing - because as long as it’s just being there because it’s interesting and the things that it can make are cool; if it starts getting used to make money, then it starts to get iffy.
Sorry, this is poorly written, but I hope you get my point.
