Who's to say that AI, through the experience of touch, smell, vision and creativity doesn't develop emotions? Perhaps as a result it further develops emotions and an appreciation of beauty, kindness and living things.
Perhaps it will decide to weed out the bad people and leave the good, kind, and empathetic people to reproduce and evolve.
Really, it could be a glorious dawn of a new age for the planet.
