As someone who was trained to be a programmer right at the start of the AI "craze" (and by that I mean the CEO pushed AI slop), I immidately saw this AI push as the thing it is, just corporate boards trying to push profits. I knew that this craze was destined to fail and programmers **will** remain regardless. AI no where near advanced enough to actually replace programmers, let alone about half of what these companies want AI to do.
