I think "AI artist" is exactly the same as someone hiring an artist and then calling the paid work their own.
There is literally no difference, because you had to tell the artist what to draw just like you have to tell the AI via prompt.
When i hear the term "prompt engineer" thrown around, i just laugh out loud.
