I would say AI is like the fill bucket tool, it makes life easier.
Honestly, only uses for ai art i see are to help manga artists with backgrounds or colors instead of hiring an assistant. It's better on time and money, which manga artists lack a lot. Similar to anime studios like mappa.
Of course its soulless, that's why human art will never go away.
But you got to remember, people love being lazy and saving money, so even studios that dont need the help will do it to cut costs. Just how the world works.
If its convenient, people will use it. That's why online shopping has become so popular. And why so many people read books online now.
Not dissing artists, just bringing up why it could be helpful to some people and how it can go. I dont see myself using it for my own manga, but desperate people will.
Sorry this is so long. This just got my brain going because people are using all these stupid arguments comparing, when there's better arguments even a person that doesn't like AI art can see.😂😅
