I tried out compose for my recent side project, and I thought asking gpt if it knows anything on how to start might give me a head start. I don't know where gpt is getting their training data from, but the code is not just buggy or un-compilable because it's outdated, but because it also tries to use a lot of very long and complex solutions where the official libraries would just give you a class to extend and you could achieve the same thing.
And then let's not talk about instances where I copy in the code to gpt that gpt made before, tell them the problem, and then they create a new one instead of the current bug. Then in the next message they suggest trying out a solution that looks identical to their first idea :D brilliant. The only thing we need to do to not let AI take jobs is to never make one that specifically trained on "good code" only. But even then, you'd have to retrain it over and over again if anything in your framework or libraries change.
