I think AI has potential to be used in a good way to help artists and everyone else. Its a great support for representing what's in your imagination. The same way we look at picture to inspire our drawings. We can write a prompt on an AI engine and refine it until we are creatively satisfied with what we're looking at. I think the most powerful aspect of if is that it could filter through millions of images and human-made art to find what you're looking for and shove it in your face in a matter of seconds. You'll be able to get a much more precise grasp on what's happening in your imagination, at least for me. I believe imagination is a wild thing that spins in every direction, but it always starts from something you encountered in actual reality. It would be like having a brain draw what your brain is thinking about. With that I'd be much more efficient at drawing a Spore Spawn from Super Metroid, but with Deviljho aesthetics and a little red top hat borrowed from Folk Horror stories. The drawing will 100% be from my own hand, experience and style, but my imagination will have been much more precisely steered towards what I was actually thinking about. I hope I'm making sense. It does in my head at least.
