It was once thought that man's inventiveness would be the "panacea for what ails the world", that he would eventually achieve the "perfect solution" to all the problems faced. Instead, it has back-fired, such as the plane that was invented the Wright Brothers in 1903 that gave the hope of air travel "with ease", but a little more than a decade later, it is was used to slaughter people with machine guns just behind the propeller during World War I and subsequently more so with jets that are armed with missiles. So, AI or Artificial Intelligence, has demonstrated that, in the "wrong hands", it becomes a danger and not a benefit, showing that was once thought of as a "blessing", can instead become a "curse". It is as the Bible "book" of Ecclesiastes states: "For an abundance of wisdom brings an abundance of frustration, so that whoever increases knowledge increases pain."(Ecc 1:18) Is there is a "perfect solution" ? Yes, but not the one that most want. For inventiveness to always be a "blessing", and not a "curse", requires that only self-sacrificing, honest, people be on the earth, the people who also love the One who "invented" the universe and man, placing him on the earth as his home, God, whose name is Jehovah.(see Isa 12:2, KJV) Only what Jehovah "invents" or creates is truly a blessing (see Prov 10:22), "perfect" (Gen 1:31), while what man creates at times turns out to be a curse, unable to see how things will turn out "down the line". Thus, what does the future hold ? That what Jehovah has "invented" will last forever, in which man as HIS "invention" will be critically examined by him "to see whether anyone has insight, whether anyone is seeking Jehovah" and have an everlasting future on HIS earth when it is transformed into a paradise.(Ps 14:2; Jer 17:10; Luke 23:43)
