None of that stuff is "AI."
That's all just analytical tools. It's been around for decades. Health insurance analytics being used to deny claims isnt AI. That tech predates commercial AI.
People keep calling phone menus with vouce recognition "AI." Calling the automated customer service bots online and phone menus "AI" is erroneous. Taco Bell's automated drive thru isn't AI. You get the idea.
This issue isn't about AI. It's simply government corruption to introduce predatory business practices under the guise of AI legislation.
Not all automation is "AI." Not every interaction with a computer that generates text is "talking to an AI."
AI is very specific. It has to be able to learn, compare and contrast ideas (not just numbers/data sets), and adapt itself to immediate needs. Does that sound like your phone menu options or a taco bell drive-thru?
This legislation is a smokescreen for more corruption. AI is already far beyond our ability to legislate it and moving faster and faster. AGI benchmarks are being achieved. There's speculation of ASI in just a few years.
AI can't be stopped. It can't be regulated. It can't be fully controlled.
