I like ai art
I have no artistic talent, the talent tools or dedication to learn, nor the money to commission art from an artist
So ai is a tool that I can actually use on top of that it's faster than any person could ever hope to be
As far as replacing jobs digital art is a single form of art when there are hundreds of others that ai can't replicate and probably won't (in my lifetime)
Additionally the ai can only draw from existing data and my inputs, it'll never create anything original (not that art is original to begin with it is all inspired) or distinct
That being said small artists that work on Fiverr and sites like that will definitely take the hit since ai can now do their job while schnobs who get their work in art galleries will probably do just fine
There is no point in stopping it though. Innovation is inevitable and I'm all for a completely automated society, have as few jobs as possible change to an economy that suits the new world and let people enjoy life (learn, travel, create)
Too bad it won't happen in my time
