Fr, it’s like, sure, the image might look a bit cool, but there’s nothing behind it. you can’t think “I wonder how long that took the artist” or “ohh I hope they post a tutorial on their trees, I like how they did those” because it’s just a lifeless computer that threw something together in a few seconds. :/ also, AI, in my opinion, could never replace real artists, my reasoning for that opinion being that every bot can’t have its own art style. sure, you can ask it to make “art” in certain categories like “anime” or “realism” but that’s still not having an art style. Every real artist has their own art style that they’ve built up over all of the years they’ve spent learning and improving their art. They have a certain way they draw eyes, trees, hands, legs, everything! A computer just couldn’t could replicate that sort of thing because it creates images by basically averaging everything that *humans* have done so far, it can’t think “hmm, I wanna draw trees differently, like with unique shapes or cool colors” because it can only create based on what we as a species have showed it, it can’t develop its own skill, it’s own style.
