AI is taking jobs in all industries. For instance, in the translation industry, AI technology has already been replacing the number of translation jobs by machine translations, at around 95% (in the course of the last 6 years or so), pushing unemployment and lower rates for professional translators and lower-quality fast-tracked machine translations flooding the world. (As professional translations are being replaced by low-compensated non-professionals revising machine-made translations at inflated processing speeds, leading to low quality.) We are going towards a world where less and less people will be working, until the point where the system slowly starts realizing that it doesn't really need those people anymore.
