Heres the problem in a nutshell....we can measure our smartest people in a multiplicative manner...like maybe "that guy is twice as smart as any other man" or maybe higher but you get the idea....though with AI these things get exponentially more intelligent with each iteration and we are at the point where the AI could direct its own development in a way that is possibly even faster than what we understand as an exponential growth pattern. We just CANT keep up with that. Dont even try. With our current wetwear we are simply not going to evolve fast enough. We have but ONE choice. We need to stop evolving and start upgrading. Its simple. We cant out organism the machines...but we could fight fire with fire
