It certainly could, but as could socialism. I think I view AI the way you do. Fine as long as humans can control it, but I too am against humans losing to robots. However, that's exactly what socialism leads to. Individuals losing their responsibility. Maybe you should study Ayn Rand and see that a lot of her goals were similar to yours
