The claude model creator said the title software engineers will vanish and we will become builders. I have 12 years experience and a software engineering degree. I use the premium models a lot. Its also easy to run out of credits. I do agree with him as AI gets better it will eventually happen. Im just hoping i can make it another 5 years before being let go. But i am driving AI initiatives at my company like creating a framework generating stories from FRD. Creating jira tickets will go away, thankfully.
