Great way of saying you didn't at all understand what the case was about.
He wanted to copyright the art under the AI's name, as if the AI itself was the owner.
This obviously isn't possible as the AI is a computer program that does not posess the ability to own things. It is however 100% possible to copyright AI generated content under it's human creator's ownership, it always has been and the right to do so has never been questioned.
