If this happens the working class was not really working the last decades. If you can use this incarnation of AI to replace real job, you can only talk about white collar jobs where people sitting close to the next coffee machine pretending to do important stuff be moving the mouse over the screen. If you want a society to survive you need to get it slim and fit and you need to put people into jobs, that are really needed. We all know those relevant but hard jobs, but a majority still believes some worthless and expensive academe degree in social sciences will guarantee a live in a non relevant but very convenient job.
