The datacenter will have value even after the AI bubble pops, since there are plenty of places where computation would be useful. It won't be the most efficient hardware for the job, but if it isn't using AI, it'll probably still be more economic than reaping out the hardware or building new datacenters specifically for those computation needs. Other thing is that the hardware will eventually be swapped out, if those datacenters are no longer doing AI crap. Ignoring disasters, I could see some datacenters falling into disuse because they were either built in a location that couldn't supply or attract the labor force these centers needed or built in a location that has water scarcity issues, with the intent of sucking down water and have no plans in place for when localities cut them off.
