Art is subjective, if a person sees ai art and like it, it's "art" in their eyes. If they go to a museum and see famous paintings as slop then they don't consider it art. No single person can decide what art is to anyone else.
I personally think most ai art looks soulless at this state, but I'm fully open to ai creating and improving the art medium forward. People need to stop hating, improvements in technology is inevitable, in every field
