What I'm worried about is the massive waste, of the quantity of resources being poured into something that has minimal actual value of returns... If you understand the technology, you know the limitations and can see how obviously massively overhyped "AI" is (a moniker that doesn't fit in any meaningful way, it's all applied neural networks, there is no "intelligence" in the systems at all) and how it will continually underdeliver. A few massive hypercorporations making billions from having convinced enough of the right people that there is value there, while wasting ungodly quantities of actually valuable resources (water, elecetricity, etc).
