The rest of us (individuals and even smaller companies) are like "digital serfs." We don't own our own data or the platforms we work on; we pay "rent" (in money or data) just to participate in the economy.
• The Society: Inequality could become extreme. Instead of a ladder you can climb, society becomes a walled garden where you are either inside the castle (owning the tech) or outside tilling the fields.
