Artists do not live in a vacuum. Every artist from any field of human artistic activity has his role models and shoulders to climb on. No one is absolutely unique. That's why, when we talk about, say, painting, we talk about styles and various schools. Artists who would be happy to sue AI companies responsible for various models, would eliminate the lawsuit of their colleagues whose works directly or indirectly inspire their works. As I said, nobody lives in a vacuum. I absolutely defend the principle of intellectual property, but the influence of the previous work on the new work cannot be protected. AI also does not exist in a vacuum, so it, like human-artists, needs "inspiration"...something to lean on, to refer to. Therefore, I see the lawsuits of artists as hypocritical and money-grabbing. As for the rest of the presentation, it is nothing but a set of woke phrases that fit perfectly into the current political climate. Intellectual pret a porter.
