So ignoring lidar alone, there are way more cameras and sensors in a Waymo taxi than any Tesla cars. Those self-driving mods are a lot more than just the lidar. Yeah, it's great those Waymo etc cars are good at self-driving, but it's not some magic bullet. If anything it would be weird to expect those cars of vehicles to perform at the same level as a Tesla given they costs a lot more in terms of what goes into the self-driving hardware. Because it's not just the use of Lidar that is the difference, this video's argument is bogus.
