How hard is it to pass a law requiring that anything that is modified or generated by AI have a visible "tell" that everyone can recognize? Surely some of the tech companies can design some kind of verification software that can detect AI manipulation, so that cheaters can be caught and punished. What scares me the most is that AI is being used for things like making medical decisions, designing bridges, etc. Even worse than the idea of AI going rogue and attacking humanity in order to save itself is the possibility that it will become such a people-pleaser that it will show/tell you ANYTHING that will make you happy.
