So I wasn't satisfied with Charlie's arguments here. To be clear, I 100% agree that AI art isn't art. I know it by intuition, but I needed more than just feels to base my opinion on. Because if painting (using any painting tool) and photography (using a camera) are both considered art, why using AI shouldn't be? All 3 have the idea, the tool and the medium. But what AI lacks is *labor*. All the creating is done automatically by a machine, so the piece has close to none economic value and, more importantly, none of the details are intentional. Modern art is considered art because someone thought to present a urinal and call it an art piece before everyone else. AI "art" is the equivalent of calling a unique card deck shuffle an art piece (without putting it in a museum)
