Its sad that hes using the real world to crash test the system hes gunna use for his mars trip vehicles that would probably be properly efficient anyway if they all run the same program and communicate. When it comes to self driving i see it as its either everything is or nothing is. Until any car without a computer is off the road theres gunna be issues. Elon or not driving is a responsibility its your property and legaly i could see a slippery slope if we allow operational responsibility to be passed on.
