I'm saying this as someone who is more right winged, in theory if AI "took" all our jobs, then we would probably end up becoming some weird communist dystopia. The only thing motivating people to work is to essentially either buy stuff they want or need to live. If you don't need to work for anything it'll play massive psychological effects on people and probably make us into the WALL-E chair people.
