This case feels so personal to me, i don't really like to comment on videos but i hope this is a safe space. What happened to me wasn't nearly as bad but i got deep faked by and random account. I got a message from this random account on insta where at first they only said "hi" nothing to weird, i guess. This is on me but i replied with hi aswell. It wasnt a fully anonymous account they had a small following, but a few days later they texted back a photo on insta those you can only see once and they wrote "um what is this" and it was a screenshot but very well edited picture of me topless with a fake chest exposed I opened it during class (i only turned 15 last week) and it was such a weird moment my heart sank and i didn't know what to do i felt really sick. I knew this picture was fake since i knew exactly what tiktok from my highlights this had been taken from, the person said they found it online on reddit im pretty sure. My school got in contact with a program about internet safety but nothing came of it. Even though it was such a small thing, one picture.Since then i live in fear of that person. My accounts were all deleted and i have gone fully private but its always a thought in the back of my mind, someone has that photo what if more people have it, who made it, why did they make it, is it gonna resurface and ruin my life or will it haunt until i hopefully forget it?? I can also cant help but think that this is my fault i made my life quite public my following was small only 550 people but all i did was post my life, and my day to day i wonder now if i shouldn't have done that?
