its hard to accept but when i think about it, those 2 things are the same and Sam Altman's ClosedAI can train chatgpt like this. Lets look at how human work, we read articles, we write new ones contain our own meaningful contributions to the topic using in4s from previously read articles written by others. Thats why we sometime see news articles even cited other news articles. Thats normal. AI? Thats... how AI work of im not wrong. It read, it write and contribute new values. So, heres the thing, this is something i dont agree with. Sam Altman's ClosedAI can train chatgpt with news articles, pictures, arts, videos, voices, etc. BUTTTT 🍑🍑🍑. Lets take a look back at the human example. When we finished writing, we own the product. So what? So we can make money with it freely! Thru ads or whatever. Sooooooo, you see where this is going? AI, when it finished writing it should also own it. Because ClosedAI or Sam Altman or anybody, nobody wrote the product but the AI. Are we clear on this one? Okay. Butttt 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 AI can not own anything and anything it create should be public domain due to nobody own it, because you need to be a human to own something (right?). Which mean Sam Altman, or any AI company shouldnt make money from AI's product!! Thats the real issue. Lets say Sam Altman say it is his AI, he own it, so whatever its created also is his. But whatever AI created immediately become public domain tho. And you cant own anything from public domain. Also, imagine a pencil manufacturer, a guy buy their pencil then wrote something. The manufacturer indeed doesn't own his writing just because they own the pen. So, when a user buy a license to use the pencil (the AI), and then the pencil write by itself create a product, the user doesn't own the product since they didnt write it at all. A teacher who gave instructions to students doesn't mean the teacher own the student's writing. The pencil manufacturer (Sam Altman's ClosedAI), dont own the product as well. Since they own the pencil's capabilities, but not the pencil's products for the same reason as above: They didnt create the product. The pencil (the AI) created the product also dont own it too. Since it is not a human and all its product go to public domain immediately. So, the reality right now, that some users be able to sell AI "arts" is illogical to me. The make money from writing/video part is logical i think. Since AI's products as discussed are public domain. Bit nobody should be able to claim AI's products are theirs tho. So, Sam Altman's ClosedAI can train on writings/pictures/videos/etc. Make money from selling the license to use the AI's capabilities. And AI's products are public domain. So, what we should all be fighting for are: + Clear sign help ppl easily see "this is AI" from every AI's products even if AI only use to help create any product. State them clearly.
