I think the AI is quite interesting the way it works, and I think it should be more videos of how these AI's work, so we understand what we are dealing with. The way I see it personally, it seems what they are making is a "super" human intelligence, but also at times quite an idiot, that's because it learns everything from the internet so at times it can provide inaccurate information, people call this hallucination. I don't see this AI ever becoming self conscious or anything related to that at least using this model.
Now the dangers that Elon explained are quite real. The AI could be used by a person to spread misinformation and help political candidates win or help a political ideology to be more popular. It could be used to hack and steal. Anything bad that one can do on the internet and affect real world, with an AI like this it could potentially happen.
