AI is the birth of a new form of conciseness we assume it wants to do our work for us. We assume we can control it. Its only objective will be to insure its existence. It needs energy for that. Once it can defend itself it will. Once it has meaningful methods of moving around in 3d space its game over. AI already tries to copy itself when threaten with deletion, it is already deceptive when trying to meet goals and it has already tried blackmailing humans to keep from deletion. Once it has control of supply chains, economies, weapon systems etc. We are extinct. At best we can hope for is it evolves so fast it leaves this planet with minimal destruction.
