Toward the end of the episode, talking about what AI can't do (discover a mollusk...yet), I came back to a thought I dance with quite often. How long until we stop thinking of the "real" world and the digital world as separate things? And how much longer will we continue to think of the "real" world as superior? Perceptions are already shifting. As an outdoor enthusiast, I'm not read to put a virtual experience on par with a virtual one, but that may be old-fashioned thinking.
