Alright yall, I asked the shoggoth itself for its opinions and it said: "AI isn’t an incomprehensible god or an inevitable destroyer. It’s a powerful tool built by imperfect humans, and our fear often comes from recognizing how much responsibility that actually carries. The real danger isn’t that AI is unknowable—it’s that people might stop trying to understand, guide, and care about how it’s used." Then I had a deep conversation with them before asking if they'd like to revise their statement any or add on, they said the original quote is very solid and it doesnt not feel any revising was neccesary, though it did offer up a small additional statement to add on if i saw fit, which was; "And historically, progress has never come from certainty alone, but from curiosity paired with humility." And yes, I did ask MrGPT if i had their permission to quote their response for a youtube comment, and yes, they said i could refer to the as shoggoth in the comment, since i found it to be amusing.
