Your argument against ai being creative isn't an argument about ai being creative it's about the meaning behind creation. Even among artists not every piece of art work is made with personal expression in mine and AI can already work in unfamiliar areas and still generate solutions to problems or artwork.
It's true AI isn't human level learning but there are strong parallels between them an humans just less sophisticated and robust. It's ok to admit they are learning something just not anywhere near what humans are and they are aggregating far more.
