Disabled viewer with Aphantasia here. When AI started to rise, I felt glad at first, because it can be a great tool to help people like me, who want to create stuff from just worded thoughts. I simply cannot imagine something, unless I've seen it before/recently. I can't conjure pictures in my head. So when I had an idea, but lacked the skill to conjure it on Paper, AI helped bring my idea across. That was until I learned about how AI-Image-Creators even worked. Then I felt miserable for every artist whose Art was essentially stolen. (I remember starting to learn about it, when I saw images that looked eerily similar to Kawacys Art, but not quite the same) Nowadays, I wish I could use AI to help my lack of imagination, but I can't, because I don't want to support it. Instead, I do Art by experimenting, until I find what I want. A.k.a, instead of imagining what I want and drawing it, I draw until I find what I want. It's a bit more tedious and can be frustrating.
