And all of this doesn't even touch on the topic of the ruinous amounts of electrical waste that generative AI server farms produce. If you don't object to it on a moral or creative level (because you're an asshole), fine, make all the bad faith straw man arguments you want. And you may not have an issue with Grandma using it to see what their dog looks like as a human, or some basement-dwelling goon wanting to see what Elsa looks like with three tits, but when you've got thousands and thousands of people doing this all day, every day... yeah, when you start seeing the quality of your electricity going DOWN while your electric bill goes UP, you better goddamn start having an issue with it.
