What I think they should do with the AI is train it with the most detailed art possible from the original artist. Then, create the animation in a more traditional way, without too many details. The animation would still be real, but the AI would fill it in with the artist's detailed style, thus avoiding having to draw each frame in such detail. This way, it would be a real animation with the artist's original art style. What do you think?
