The Actual Indians part isn't what killed the company. The CEO, iirc, was fast and loose with money. A company they owed a lot of credit to, demanded their cash back but they couldn't pay it so they filed for bankruptcy.
As much as I would like the cause of the failure to be AI, in this situation, it's just bad business.
