When i got my most recent internship, I came across a list of intern candidates while on the job on our internal wiki page and around 80% of them had "used chatgpt during interview" on their interview notes. Being interested and getting hands on while avoiding gpt (unless as a last resort to understanding a concept I guess) to pass your classes goes a long way with getting an internship these days.
