Though Dr. Roman is incredibly intelligent, I pray that His eyes will be opened to the Truth (Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life). Dr. Roman believes there is a greater power thankfully, but he’s still missing the God of the Bible. This is why Steven can see the contradiction of Dr. Roman saying he still cares about doing the right moral/ethical thing when it comes to AI yet he believes he’s in a “simulation” where there’s no meaning/purpose. Roman doesn’t realize that he cares about humanity because God’s moral law is written on his heart and he’s not in a simulation where there’s no meaning/purpose but rather is living in God’s created world. God created humans to have relationship with Him and with one another and for us to be good stewards of all He’s blessed us with on this side of eternity. AI sounds scary and we should stay informed, but the Bible can explain everything that’s being talked about here. God says Do Not Fear 365 times in the Bible. As humans we are made in the image of our Creator (our intelligence comes from an intelligent eternal being, God. We create because God created and we’re made in His image), we know good and evil because God wrote His Law in our hearts, we live in a fallen world and are sinful (we disobey God because we are tempted by the devil with power, money, fame, sex), we know there is more beyond this world because Heaven and Hell do exist. God is the ultimate intelligent being that created all that exists and created us in His image out of love (because God is love). He gave us free will to choose to love Him and put our faith in Jesus instead of programming us to because it wouldn’t be genuine love that way. Jesus, being God and second person of the Holy Trinity stepped into creation to live the perfect life we couldn’t, to sacrifice himself on the cross and take on God’s judgement in our place, and rose from the dead to conquer death and prove He is God. We don’t need to fear AI or fall for the idea that we’re in a simulation and nothing has meaning/purpose. God created us to worship Him and wants us to choose to believe in Jesus as our Savior and make Him Lord of our lives!So repent of your sins and believe in Jesus! Jesus is coming back 🤍
