People use the term Luddite derogatorily but honestly they were on to something. Technology is not unquestionably good. If it displaces skilled worker’s labor, makes them poor, and does a worse job overall, then that technology is only good for one person, the capitalist who owns it. Only if our economy is fundamentally restructured will advancements like AI actually improve society as a whole.
