I think there is something to be said about the opener. That their version of a future with super intelligent AI isn’t intended to be prophecy. I think it was Neil DeGrasse Tyson who said that science fiction shouldn’t be read as prophecy, but guardrails and overplaying a fear humans have towards a specific technology in order to keep us from driving toward it mindlessly.
