The guy says that pulling the plug is not possible but didn't give a proper explanation as to why. Yes, we are using it a lot today, but it's not too late as we still have the skills and knowledge to perform human tasks. In 20-30 years time we won't have these skills and AU will dominate all kinds of spheres. We are noticing today how reliant we are on production and yet we've been pushing services. It will be the same with AI. So, again, why not pull the plug while we still can? The only thing companies will loose out on is their investment in these systems. For the average human, it won't change much and will keep people in work. If we want to introduce this system more predominantly then it needs to be done slowly to give societies a chance to adapt. As people retire, their jobs can be eliminated. Putting people out of work and telling them to retrain is not possible. People have debts that need repaying, food to put on the table and so on. With social security being axed everywhere, we need more of it today than ever before.
