If artists are "blue bloods", born with a talent for creating any type of art, then why do art schools exist? Surely we don't need them, because the talent to create art of any kind already exists in us.
What I hear from these pro-ai arguments is a deep-seated feeling of insecurity and inferiority. Do you think I was drawing and painting like Michelangelo when I was 4? No, but I had to start from somewhere. You don't have to be perfect or great at making art 100% of the time. You are allowed to make shitty art, and you are allowed to share it with the world or keep it to yourself to enjoy privately.
