"Originality is the ability to hide your sources" << AI is a child, once it learns this, your protests won't matter.
And to be honest, as a graphic designer/photographer who began working before computers, I heard all these same protests with the invention of Illustrator and Photoshop with their filters. Page-paste-up designers, pen and ink illustrators, and film photographers all had to adapt. Modern artists will too.
